Meet. Dr. Woodlief
Professionally, I am most passionate about treating each patient as a unique individual, with the care and compassion that I would expect for my own family. Working with so many unique people every day affects my life in more ways than I could have imagined. My dedicated team is quite exceptional and collectively they are one of the best groups of people that I have had the privilege of working with. Education and Continuing Education
I began my undergraduate work at the University of California-Los Angeles, where I received a scholarship for biological sciences and ran for the track team. Later, I decided to transfer and complete my Bachelor of Science degree at the University of California-Santa Cruz. I then went on to receive my Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts.
Since completing my formal education, I have spent more than 1800 hours of continuing education studying TMD therapy, sleep disorders, orthodontics, and pain management. I believe that my patients deserve nothing but the best, and in order to provide that for them, I understand the importance of staying up-to-date on the newest, most advanced technology and treatment options.Visit me on Google+

Outside the Office
I am a native Californian, born in San Francisco, and have resided in San Jose for the past 21 years. My only son, just having completed his master’s degree, works in Seattle at the University of Washington. My family is very important to me. My mother, Ann, retired in San Jose, and my older brother, Lee, recently completed his bachelor’s degree in geography. I am a dedicated uncle to a teenage niece and nephew of my youngest sister, Marva, and her husband Brad. Annually, we vacation together and all play as hard as we work! Personally, I am very passionate about being active in the community. I’m also a very big sports enthusiast and I love working with athletes.
